Therra Jaxsen bit down on the end of the paint brush that was sticking out of her mouth.
"Frell...I can't even begin to make this work." she huffed.

On the wall in front of Therra was an unfinnished mural.  The heavens were full of every color she could get her hands on.  The people she painted were content, serene, and to be envied.  Some call them "Ancients".  Some called them "Gods".  Therra called at least one of them "family".

"With all these superior beings acsending, decsending, and being in stasis...I just can't finnish this." Therra choked on her own sardonic tone and tossed the chewed up paint brush on the floor.  Therra grabbed a cup full of hard cider and chugged it back.  The stranger with the white hair really knew her stuff...this drink had a kick that only an artist like Therra could appreciate.  All of a sudden, her color pallet would literally come to life; speak to her.  She would finish this painting tonight no matter what.

As if on cue, Therra's head began to swim.  Being stuck between time and space, Therra truly had forever to paint her masterpiece...but this cider was not going to last forever.  "Ride the buzz as long as you can,  Therra, my dear." said a familiar voice in her mind.  It was her father.   Therra smiled at the memory.  "Capture it, this moment.  There is nothing more precious than the now of your life."  her father would say to her.  The combination of passionate artist, hard Hinerian cider, and a father long passed made Therra burst into tears.

I AM DRUNK...and typing...and my grammer is horrible...and I'm writing dangerously close to fanfiction if I go any farther with this...*LOL*
